kayak photos
Here is a shot From Wabamun lake as I was kayaking into the sunset with my camera. I was scared shitless that I was going to drop my camera in the lake or flip the kayak in some freak accident. In the future I think I would like a waterproof case or at least a plastic bag, something to make me feel less paranoid :)

Edmonton Municipal Cemetary
Today I went to the Edmonton Municipal Cemetery and grabbed some shots. I didn’t like this one as much as mount pleasant graveyard but there are some older grave markers that may turn out :) I pushed the film (Ilford FP4+) from 125 to 200 again to see if I could get that great texture.
Comments are off for this postw00t Newly developed Slide film
Today I got two rolls of slid film back from the lab. I really miss working in the lab because I would get to see my film the moment that it came out of the dryer and there was the satisfaction that I developed my own E6. :) Alas well hopefully it will come back soon!!! Anyway back to the film, it was a roll of Kayaking pictures and Man did some of them turn out awesome. You will all get to see them soon cause I hope to scan most of them in tonight after Miranda and I get back from coffee with mike :)

Well Ncf was fun but really really wet :) We got there and I photographed the sun going down and that was the last time we have seen it since. It started to rain that night and it really hasn’t stopped, and being that I haven’t a water tight case for my camera it was hiding in the car for most of the weekend so there isn’t a lot of pictures to be had from this years NCF:( There were fire dancers on Friday night but alas I didn’t have my camera cause of the rain and stuff. :( But we saw Mad Bomber Society which is cool. So that was that :)
Comments are off for this postNorth Country Fair
Well we are off to North Country Fair today. For those not in the know NCF is a weekend long music festival that is deep in the bowels of Lesser Slave Lake in Northern Alberta. It will be a good time and a wonderful picture talking opportunity. I should be able to get in really tight and close with the 300mm lens and get some great band shots and such. I think that I will be firing of a lot of film this week end :) Any way I will be sure to post the results when we return on Monday. I was to have a photo shoot with Carla and Shane this morning but alas she didn’t call or answer the phone :). But it is most likely for the best for I have a lot of stuff to do today, and with mention of that I better get at it all :)

Rabbits, & Headstones

Rabbits, Rabbits, And more rabbits. These are shots from my recent trip to Mount Pleasant graveyard. For a place that is devoted to death there certainly all kinds of life there :) In the time there (about 45 min) I had Ravens Dive bombing rabbits, and magpies chasing squirrels around trees. Really it was like a funny cartoon, this squirrel had something that the magpie felt it should have. So around & around the tree they went. I can guarantee that I will be returning with a day old bagel or something. But these are some shots from the graveyard for you to all see!

Sunsets & Green Meadows
Tonight after coffee I drove around a bit and grabbed some shots of the sunset from near the LRT Bridge. I also stopped at the park near Queen Elizabeth pool and grabbed a shot or two from there. I hope to have at least some digital up soon :)
