So I placed an advertisement in SEE Magazine right. So last night Miranda and I are at Keegan’s when her Cell phone rings (Mine is still missing in action) & a girl named Carla is responding to my Ad is on the other end. So after much stuttering and mumbling on my part ( I was really tired and I am always caught off guard when I am tired) we finally agree to meet her and her boyfriend who are both actors seeking head shots, at Starbucks the next day. So I wrote it down and thought nothing more of it. So this morning I had this thought to myself, It was really a simple bit of arithmetic, Carla + Actor = mmmmmm… No it couldn’t be the Carla that I know from Slave Lake… So at 12:30 I walk over next door and wait and who shows up bit CARLA From Slave Lake. It was really odd in a sense. So any way we caught up on old times and they both are going to come out Monday. I also ran into Jody at the Starbucks (her boy works their) :) So I should get her to come to the studio next week.

Now on that note I bought a lighting Umbrella from McBain today it is a 42” white umbrella that was only 20 bucks. Apparently it was $30 dollars less then the rest of them because the company is no more or something, so It was on clearance. So I bought it anyway, and man does it ever make a difference. I gained at least three stops from one umbrella I am stoked to say the least. I borrowed mikes flash today and I blew of a roll of test shots just to see how it works out. I am one roll from being totally caught up with my developing and I am almost caught up on my black and white scanning, so all is good times.

On a less happy note I have exhausted the current job market for anything to do with photography, so I guess I will have to turn to other things like computers (bleah) and Landscaping (bleah) well we will see what I can get. But I just realized that I have written enough to pass as a treatment for a novel so I will cut this short.
