Well it has been a hot minute since I have worked with a model on a photo session but that is what we have here today! For no reason other than I thought it would be fun (spoiler alert it was) I dusted off my old fashion photographer hat and set up a photo session with @cirqueobscura
I am, for reasons unknown to me, infatuated with shooting on transit and more specifically the Canada Line (I think because it is underground) but to grab my old Canon and the trusty 70-200 seemed to easy, so I decided to shoot this session entirely on my Leica, Mamiya, and Hasselblad all of which are not the greatest in low light but I figured I would be able to make it work!
We met up at Waterfront Station and wandered about the station and trains for about an hour and a half, finding good light and interesting backdrops. Riding the train back and forth hoping off at random stations and waiting for open seats all while taking photos with interesting cameras and lenses.
@cirqueobscura was a trooper and killed it with every shot! It took a bit to remember the photographer me of old and get into the groove of directing and capturing the moment as it has been a while since I worked that part of my brain.
Definitely happy with how this session worked out and super stoked to plan some more! So to all the models and other folks that have contacted me over the past few years, HMU!!
