I have always loved this idea and have taken many many many many photos of these things over the years but it only came to me the other day as to how to describe them. The Exist Simply Because they Persist. This is a great description of what happens here. No one is going to take them down or though them away unless they need the space/place for something else, and nature and the persistence of time are not removing them. They still are here simply because they are still here. I like that. I like to capture that moment in time.
