Umbrellas in Yaletown

Umbrellas in Yaletown

Today saw me having to jump over to Yaletown to pick something up for somebody. Since I was already there and it was one of the first nice days this spring and grabbed Mildred and with the Voigtlander 35mm and went for a photowander!

I can’t get enough of the pink and red umbrellas that are suspended in both Bill Curtis Square and over top of Helmcken Street between Mainland and Hamilton.

I also got to spend a spot of bit of time Picking on complete Strangers here as well.

I started this wander not wearing a jacket or sweater or anything which was great at first, but as the sun went behind the buildings I began to truly regret this choice :) It was obvious enough that a stranger commented as they walked by that I had ‘made a choice’ :)
