I got a new toy this past week. The Lomo LC-A Minitar-1 2.8/32 Art Lens in the Rangefinder M-Mount. I ordered this way back in November but it finally came this past week and I got to do a quick walk about with it. Jury is out still on how awesome this lens is yet but the first walk about is pretty good.

It looks the exact way that logo photos do with maybe a wee bit more colour fringing and vingetting.

An by a bit of color separation I really mean like a LOT of colour separations :)

I love the look of it but I am finding it to have really awful colour separation on the edges of the frame. Like to the point that solid light coloured objects to the left or right of frame are straight up purple. It is to be expected and it is totally a non-issue if you either embrace it, or shoot for square :) ?

I do love that it focuses quite well with the rangefinder and despite being super small it is easy to change the settings on the fly with the camera up to your eye. really a much better experience then shooting with a real film lomo. :)
