At the beginning of the pandemic we said goodbye to our downtown east side life and moved over to Vancouvers North Shore. It was a wise choice considering we lived in a loft with two kids and had to work out of that same space. Fine for a month or three but a year? two? Three? nope that wasn’t going to work. So we moved to the North Shore. Which is lovely, and clean, and well… boring. At least in terms of something that I love to take photos of… Back Alleys.
But a few years in I am finding the deep gritty seedy underbelly of even the loveliest of places.
