This is the Okotoks Erratic near Okotoks on Highway 7. It was really funny cause we were driving along and josh is like I think there is a big rock around here that is supposed to be cool. I am not really sure where this is but I have heard of a big rock! and I was like that one! pointing to this huge rock jutting out from the otherwise flat prairie! We were going to drink a big rock on the big rock (I don’t think anyone has cause the rock was littered with Kokanee & Pilsener cans) but being that I was hungover from the night before and we had a whack of driving ahead, I declined! Anyway go here for more info
Oh wow! I did not know of the big rock. Where is it? I must go visit it!
The big rock is the world’s largest glacial erratic.
errr ahh I must be really sick cause I wrote all this stuff for that post but didn’t post it! so I have updated it!
who is that cool looking dude standing on the rock?
(the rock is situated between the towns of Okotoks and Black Diamond, Alberta, Canada (18 kilometres south of Calgary))
