What better way to wrap up a day of driving than hitting up Fremont Street in Las Vegas? The vibrant lights, music, and energy made for the perfect backdrop to put the Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 4K and Sigma 18-35mm Art lens to the test. Using an MFT to Nikon adapter, I shot everything at 24fps, capturing the dynamic atmosphere of Fremont in all its chaotic glory.

For most of the shots, I kept the ISO at 1250, with a few jumps to 3200 and 4000. There’s even one shot of the dancing scene where I cranked it up to 10,000, and the camera still held up impressively!

I have to say, I love this camera—almost as much as the Ursa Mini Pro. It’s insanely portable and delivers amazing image quality. Sure, it has fewer options than the Pro, particularly when it comes to sound and shooting formats, but for its size and price, it’s fantastic. After two weeks with the Pocket 4K, the verdict is in: this camera is great. :)

Let me know what you think of the footage, and if you’ve tried the Pocket 4K, how’s it holding up for you?
