This building houses The Warehouse Studio which in it’s self is super cool but I love it because when the light is just right these frosted windows that open into what I imagine is the studio’s courtyard become these wicked urban soft-boxes illuminating a shaded sidewalk/street area.

Gastown – Photowander
This morning was started by an awesome visit from clients & friends Sandra & Tyler who brought us donuts an coffee from Lucky’s Doughnut’s on main street and we had one of those good visits like i always imagined my parents did when i was a kid and the neighbour from up the road would just stop in for coffee.
Walk about at night
I had to wander out and about the other night and as always I had my camera with me :) My goal was to not stop for more then a sec or so but still grab some sharp night photos (EG: shutters below 1/60th)

Photos from the hood
I sorta felt that these two photos were a great Ironic pairing :) I love street art! If i wasn’t so ‘lazy’ (aka I have 32 hobbies and a baby on the way) I would be a street artist!! I have to make the distinction between street art and tagging! Tagging is dumb! It is like a dog running about the neighbourhood pissing on things!! it is willfull property damage and completely self indulgent! Street art is just clever and awesome.

A Somewhat Long Walk For A Morning Coffee.
A couple of time a week I will wander over to the railtown JJ-Bean for a morning coffee. I as always take my camera and I always try and walk a different route. Today I decided to walk the long way around only to discover that the railtown JJ-Bean is closed today for renovations. I in fact even knew this… It was plastered all over the door and counter for at least the last week…. I even read it and made a mental note that they would be closed…. I remembered none of this till I got there. :) I instead walked to the Hogan’s Alley over in china town and these are the photos.
