More from the Michelle shoot.
This is a photo from part two of last Thursdays photo shoot. We just popped down to our parkade for some photo fun. Again Sarah did a fantastic job with the makeup/hair and Michelle looked fantastic! Good fun all around!
4 commentsWinter? Here? Nahhh!
Well the News at 11 was an hour late but here you all are. Today as I said before I went up a mountain with a new model Michelle. I had a snowy forest idea and Sarah Bergeest was able to work her magic in the makeup & hair department! They both were troopers dealing with ridiculous amounts of snow and rain, as well as having a good time! (that’s hard to do without a snowboard under ya. ) I wish I had a video crew to follow us around because dealing with the 10ft of snow was hilarious and should been seen!!! I say 10ft mostly because I don’t know!! I kept sinking to my waist and not touching the ground so who knows how far that went!!! Anyway here is a photo
5 commentsMore Old Photos
As you know I have been going through the archives of the institute as of late, and I came across a photo shoot that I did in 2004 that I have never even looked at! I feel like Garry Winogrand lately taking photos and not looking at them, but what can you do really. So ya this was a shoot that we did in studio as well as on a snowy golf course in an Alberta November! I ended up getting fairly busy and going though this shoot got back burnered untill today.
As my loving M said yesterday “it has been four years since we have had a life” Its funny that concept of time to do things for the sake of doing them as apposed to a means to an end. well anyway I am going to try and find some photogenic snow so enjoy.
Melissa

A new shot form the last shoot with Melissa.
Some Old Film of Twilla

I was searching through old film and I found this! This was taken on my old Mamiya M645 1000s. Its funny to say that a 6×4.5cm look really small compared to the 6X7cm of the Mamiya RB67
No commentsTrying out a new lens
So we were just down at the beach for a wicked trash the dress session (see the BOP blog for photos) and miranda had the forsight to rent a Canon EF 24mm f/1.4L USM Prime lens that we have been meaning to try. GOOD GOD IS IT A SWEET LENS!!!!!
No commentsBusy 24 hours
So it has been a busy 24 hours for me. Last night after our wedding was done Josh & I went for a midnight scoot. Took a few photos in the dark of night.

Rode a few trails and avoided getting caught up in a crazy ‘bush party’ in Stanley park.
This was Miranda when I told her how many photos we shot at our wedding! :)

Breakfast at the tomahawk this morning, followed by more aimless scooting.

This is so foreign to me

The White stripes rocked

Back home again!
So we have returned from our third over the water wedding in two weeks. :) We stayed with Mike and Julie in Victoria this weekend! Thanks guys for the bed! It was good to see them, and Manny Man was in town this weekend so that was double good times.
If you have seen this man, contact authorities immediately
Miranda can’t resist the email!
Any way we are home again and I am getting ready to join up with the North Shore crew and cruisers to bike on down to Commercial Drive Car free goodness.
