Went for a motorcycle trek

This sunday I pulled my self out of bed at the holy ungodly hour of 6AM despite shooting most of the day on Saturday, and getting to bed at like 2something for my first extended full day motorcycle trek. I had some things to finish up at home but I managed to be on the road by 8:30.
I didn’t really have a plan in mind other then drive towards Coaxial’s spot tracker and then go from there.
I managed to find him on the highway despite being totally out of cell service and on random highways. We grabbed a coffee in Pemberton and then proceeded to ride the Cache Creek Loop.

Now it is called the Cache Creek loop but ironically we totally skipped Cache Creek. :)

I made it home at about 9pm just in time for BBQ!!
it was a good trial run for a possible longer motorcycle trip in a few weeks.

Motorcycle Camping

Last week I had a free night so Coaxial & I went for an overnight trip camping. My intent was to ride the Cache Creek loop,

but with the torrential downpour that we rode though and the general chilly weather, we opted to just ride to Squamish and back :)

Being a weekday we stayed at the completely dead Alice Lake campsite.

Some GoPro Stills from the way back.

epic!

For no reason what so ever I wanna ride this ‘loop’ in a single day on a motorbike. It is just the most epic of epic scenic circle routes that one could even think of planning :) seriously, who’s with me :)

New Motorbike luggage

I received my new motorbike luggage the other day. Now I just need time to go camping with them. They seem to fit swimmingly and they will fit better if i relocate the rear signal lights back a little bit.

We Treked up the Sunshine coast on motorbikes

So I am super busy so you as always get photos and little explanation.
My season is getting less crazy so that means more photos and stuff.

This is 10 random minutes of helmet cam. It is not an awesome cinematic masterpiece, and I am stealing music. (gasp!!) to make up for this I am strongly suggesting that you check out the Rural Alberta Advantage! http://www.theraa.com/

Today is a Scooter Day

So you get a photo that I took yesterday of a motorbike! I know it doesn’t really make sense but it is not really supposed to

Anyway I am really loving this new lens. It is a little difficult to use however because the 1.2 means that you need to be very particular about what you are focusing on, and once you have focus you can move much:) But the bokeh is so nice!

This is a bike!

Yuppers this is a bike! A motor bike in fact! I grabbed this while wondering the dark wet back alleys of Vancouver.
