Today I was feeling a spot under the weather and decided that a small road trip was the best way to deal with that :) So #tinythejeep and I drove up the Sea to Sky highway (which is still one of my favorite drives) to Squamish and wandered sort of randomly into Shannon Fall Provincial Park. I have been to the falls many times before but this was the first time in at least 4 or 5 years.

You access the falls right from the highway when you are headed north into Squamish and park in the parking lot and take the short walk to either the upper or lower viewpoints. The upper view point is a small climb up about 90 stairs and is where the bulk of these shots came from.  You can also take a short walk from here to the squamish Sea to Sky gondola.

I shot this mostly with the Canon 1DX Mark II and my, now go to lens, the Canon EF 28-300mm f/3.5-5.6l is usm although I did pop on the Canon TS-E 24mm f/3.5L for a few tilt shift shots as well. I also used the DJI Pocket, The DJI Mavic Air 2, and the DJI Mini 3 Pro for the other shots as well.

On the way home I tried to see if there was any access to the backwoods via FSR’s or otherwise that I didn;t know about off the Sea to sky Highway but all I managed to find was a lot of locked and closed gates.
