So anyone that goes though the archives of the institute (on a side note I am currently downloading 52 episodes of astroboy w00t) knows that I love wandering around old farms and homesteads with my camera. I find the photographic treasures that are hiding just below the surface very hard to resist. So imagine my glee when we went to my grandfathers for coffee and pie!! (you always have coffee and pie)
So to start the skies were fantastic. I also took a few medium shots of this with black and white. So we will see how that works out!
This is the side of the conflict house. It’s called the conflict house because any time my grandparents had a dispute this was their version of the couch, or the doghouse.
This is one of my Grandpa’s tractors. I remember as a kid when he bought this one it seemed so big then. Looks small and cute now!
Tiger Lily’s in the garden.
I wanted to stay and wander around the yard some more but I had to get going. There is a gold mine of photography glory out in the back yards like my parent’s old beetle and older tractors, combines and other good stuff. Next visit I guess.
