When I have time and a home that is not in shambles.
After we move and things are settled down I am excited to use the Omega a little bit more. I have a new polaroid back for some Fuji FP100C action and I have a shinny new box of Polaroid 72 that is calling my name.
Saturday is moving day so anyone that wants to haul heavy boxes can meet us at our new place at 12:30. I am sure you all you who are coming to our variety of parties in the upcoming week know where we are moving to. there will be beer and pizza.

Instead of a Write up About Recording…
….you get photos of us recording. After we move and I am done painting I may finish a long draft about all our new recording adventures, but till then you get photos

Post J&S moving
And I feel all man like from carrying a variety of heavy things about :) Tomorrow I am going to feel all wuss like when the soreness kicks in but for now I am content to be manly man :)
So random photo from a photo walk on Kingsway.

Busy Days & Photos Of Guitars
I shot a wedding today and went to check out Josh & Shannon’s new home! It’s is awesome you guys so happy for ya! :) Being that I have been busy all day you all get old photos. This is me playing with new radio poppers that I got back in October. Selfies seem like a great real world testing ground for photo stuff.

Tomorrow we are moving J&S into their new digs :)
Um That Position Doesn’t Exist Here!
You post a job posting on Craigslist and you might get this guy as an applicant. Seriously let us all listen to him tell us his qualifications and his resume. I don’t know though his people skills may need a bit of work, but his phone etiquette seems to be quite superb :) I heart people!
I Really Really Do!
3 commentsPacking and jamming!
So today was about packing and jamming!I managed to pack a whole crap load of stuff and clean out most of my desk and such.
We had a quick bite at the newly replaced Incendios in g-town where Darren & I ended up with ridiculously large & free beers.

Then there was Jam time where Darren & I had more foolishly large beer.

We rocked out so hard that the Zoom H4n Actually froze 30min into the session. That is how much we rocked out! tomorrow more packing and treks to Richmond :) Fun!
No commentsStay Tuned for Polaroid Fun!!

No commentsFrom the Jerk archive I present Patrick Watson

Ya I know that I said that this wasn’t going to be the norm of this NaBloPoMo but yup, I am busy so you get old recycled content! From the Patrick Watson Show that D & I went to at the now defunct Richards on Richards.
No commentsDarren is such a Rock star!!
Is there musical instruments in the vicinity? - Check!
Is he drinking beer? – Check!
Is he in some grubby poorly lit room? – Check!
Is there some sort of surly gesture going on? – Check!
Is the photo grainy and poorly exposed? – Check!
Yup Rockstar!
Unfortunately we didn’t hit cypress today for snowboarding glory due to the only chair lift (besides the bunny hill lift but it is the bunny hill so the run and lift don’t count) being closed. So maybe Wednesday when the mountain is open again? we will see.

Yay Chocolate!!
Who doesn’t like chocolate!? Communists that’s Who! There are some chocolate polaroid film goodness from our trip to Tofino!!
Here we have pumpkins from Cathedral Grove.

The Fire alarm from our boat home.

We are back from Tofino…
…and all I can show you all is some Polaroids. It seems that Port Alberi has an old timey drive in.

We stopped there twice for yummy burgers and the like.
No commentsOh So Much Pie!
I think there is two recurring themes when it comes to us & Tofino. Weddings & Pie! Yup it seems that we come to Tofino and there is a wedding and there is pie. Large pies. Many pies. Delicious Pies!
1 commentReminded That Today in Tofino is actually a work day :)
Yup for a moment or two I may have forgotten that this trip for us at least is partly work. We be shooting a few hours today out on Chesterman beach and the weather is a mix of bloody awesome and slightly less awesome (at least by Tofino standards) so it should be swell. Then after the work stuff is backed up and safely stashed in multiple locations it is all about the relaxing and nothing but good times! I am hardly shooting any digital photos this weekend because it is all about the Mamiya RB67 and a variety of super awesome films/polaroids. This combined with sketchy internets means you all wont get many photos from this weekend till later sometime. Them’s the breaks so deal.
No commentsOff to tofino.
Blogging via an iPhone because the laptop is already packed. I should get used to blogging this way for the next few days anyway as Internet may be scarce.
So we are off to Tofino today. When I say we I mean a couple of carloads of we. D A J&S K&E M&I are going to be piling into two cars and firing off to the rain soaked west coast to stay in a cramped no bedroom (just many beds/air mattresses) cabin on the ocean. Should be Tonnes O fun. So much fun that I couldn’t sleep this morning so I got up at an impossibly ridiculous hour (Darren was already up for a 1/2 hour according to Twitter.) and packed the truck. :). I keep forgetting that this is actually a work trip. We are shooting a wedding tomorrow. Should be fun and wet :)
I have packed a small recording studio and a bunch of guitars and banjos etc. D is bringing a large bag of percussion and My Friend Lisa is planning on recording some awesome.
anyway one more bag to pack and we are off.
