Mmmm Go Figure

You Are an Emo Rocker!

Expressive and deep, lyrics are really your thing.
That doesn’t mean you don’t rock out…
You just rock out with meaning.
For you, rock is more about connecting than grandstanding.

What Kind of Rocker Are You?

Whistler

Today we decided that it was high time that we drove to whistler. We have been here to long to have not trekked farther down the 99 then the ferry, so after a decent breakfast with D we drove outta town. Lots to see and many places that I would love to go back to at sunrise/set.

We took the Golf on the regular back roads that should not be traversed with a Golf

However, I did just about kill this frog (I nearly stepped on it by accident) He does really well to blend in to the environment.

Its not a show unless there is an act of near nakedness.

Well I went to see Art Brut at Richards on Richards tonight with Darren. They played a great show and I what not, the opening ‘band’ was a little more interesting however. Gil Mantera’s Party Dream is some band from Ohio that we lets say is a little on the odd side of things.

The entire set was like this. Prancing around and the slow decay of their wardrobe till they well were prancing around and singing like this

Art Brut
was a bit more civilized when it came to there wardrobe. No near nakedness here

The new camera preformed stellar in the worse light I was able to get a lot of great shots.

But I am falling asleep at the keyboard…..

A Night of Debauchery & Nakedness!!!

We went out to a burlesque show at The Lamplighter tonight. It was good. Not feeling so talkative so you get a completely unrelated photo instead.

My Trip to the Library

This morning I walked down to the Library to get a book that I had set away. Nice walk I missed most of the rain. On the way back I took a round about route.
This shot I grabbed in a budget car rental lot right near the library. (It isn’t Cross Processed I just accidentally shot it with a custom white balance from the Kim photo shoot two days ago)

Camera: Canon 1Ds Mark II
Aperture: 2.8

This is a shot from the Royal Bank on the north east corner of Hastings Street and Granville Ave. I wandered in with my head looking at the ceiling and I was greeted by a nice man that worked there. We chatted about the building for a while, about how I wasn’t a tourist, and how I had moved here. I asked about photos to which he replied well normally no, but because we have no clients in right this second, and I feel sorry for you that you are from Edmonton, go ahead. So I snapped a few off with the lens that I had on the camera (I didn’t want to make a big production about it because he was being nice.) But I wish I had the time to slap on the 16 to 35 for it.
