There are a few things that I will need to take care of, like a new windshield ARRRRGGG. i Only Arrg cause the Windshield is the factory installed one and Up till the last trip here to BC it was mint No cracks large chips nothing that would make it fail and in the last trip here when the car was packed to the gills I smucked the window lightly with a foot stool and it totally spidered now it is a 400 dollar fix. :(

Metal

So you know that you are tired when you make coffee in the morning and forget the coffee. I went though the entire motions and everything. I stuck the filter in, added the water and didn’t even notice that I had made nothing till I was adding sugar to my cup of hot water. Ahh well what can you do really.

What I Learned Today

I swear the only thing that I hate more the George W, is not being able to find things. I absolutely hate losing stuff and I also believe that moving, especially across the country, is the most efficient way known to man for losing things. That being said I am going to start blogging about the things that I learned about the west coast today. Today I learned just how cool Fog is.

I went for a walk today and well I didn’t get far. I was headed for a quick drive around Stanley Park and then I was going to head on over to Point Atkinson Lighthouse. Needless to say I didn’t make it far though the park little lone across the bridge to West Van.

I ran into another photographer and his wife on the Beach that were doing the same thing that I was. He was shooting with the Canon 1Ds Mark II, so we chatted about cameras and what not for a while. I can’t wait till Aprilish to look at getting that bad Oscar.

I grabbed this shot on the way home. I decided to drive up Davie to pacific and then roll home. I say decided bit what I really mean is I was in the wrong lane and I wasn’t really paying attention so Davie it was. Any way this was shot though my passenger window of the Golf

Sitting in the park

This shot actually comes from Edmonton on the last walk about that I did at the Legislature Grounds. She was just some random girl reading a lonely planet book about Costa Rica But man it kind of jumped out at Mike Rob and Me as a great shot.

Morning Walk about

So this morning after Miranda went to work I decided that the best way to start the day off would be with a walk. Mostly because it was a super sunny morning and that is something that one should take advantage of.

Contrary to popular belief it gets cold enough here for frost, although I am sure that this isn’t often the case.

We went to Henry Rollins Spoken word tonight which was a good time. Man I would love to meet that guy for a cup of coffee one day. It would be a good conversation I am sure. Any way it is far too late and I need to get up far too early.

Breakfast @ Burts

So today we woke up at a crazy unreasonable hour for a Sunday morning, but that was the best time to get up for breakfast. Tricky Dave, Darren and Elisa meet us at Burt’s for morning grub.

We arrived hopelessly early and stood out side waiting for the trio passing the time taking photos of the crazy Laundromat that was beside the Diner.

We were also accosted by a weirdo trying to sell us some ‘chronic’. He was caring around a huge handful of pot in his hand, no bag or anything, just pot. After us he hit up Darren & Dave as well.
