I am allergic to water!!
I am allergic to water!! I always have been and I don’t for see anything changing in the near future. You see every time I step out of the shower, I spend the next 10 minutes scratching and scraping all of my skin off till I am a red throbbing mess, and generally miserable. I thought at first it might be the soap, or the shampoo, or the laundry detergent that I wash my towels with but after trying all available brands and what not I am left to conclude that I am allergic to water. I am only writing this to try and keep my mind off the itching for I have just gotten out of the shower and am currently in the don’t scratch the itch battle. I saw the queen’s motorcade today not really exciting it was a bunch of cars with tinted windows and motorcycles with flashing lights. I mean for all I know it could have been Michel Jackson

It is not often that one gets to say that they spent their evening taking photos of lady bugs fucking! But I can :)& I did. I wandered down to the legislature for shits and giggles and grabbed these with the Macro lens. I haven’t really had a lot of opportunity to use this lens but I am starting to really enjoy it.

What time is it ? To Damn Early For A Sunday
So I had this weird dream that I took my Cat to a geology course that I was taking at the UofA. I had stuck her in my backpack and took her with me. I was trying to leave class because the next one was starting but my bag was stuck on something. So the new class is filing in and I am having trouble getting my bag with the super sneaky hidden kitty in it unstuck from the desk. I woke up and I haven’t been able to get back to sleep so I just got up!
In other news Adaware is not the end all be all of spy/nuisance warez removal. After successfully installing a whole whack of junk by accident to my laptop I eventually resorted to reinstall to remove it. It was evil spy ware. The actual spy ware itself could be removed with no problem but there was a little ap that was running in the background that would continuously reinstall the junk the moment that I connected to the internet. If you ended the task of the little ap it would delete the file and create a new one to replace it and start over. In the hour that I fucked with it until I gave up, it continued to place random executables though out the windows directory and then use these random files to replicate itself if I was actually able to end its process. All bad news I tell you. The piss me off part of it all is I was totally going to ghost the drive so I wouldn’t have to reinstall all this stuff in a day or so. Burn!

So this week consisted of a great deal of me sitting in the office while there was great weather and what not going on out side. But what can you do I suppose things need to get done. One of the things that I haven’t been working on is my shots from the mountains last weekend. But doing a quick scan though the photos I pulled this one out. This was when were in Lake Louise wandering around. I had the 75 to 300 mm Lens on the camera cause we were trying to grab photos of this horse shit eating bird, (it was a long day) when I looked across the yard and there was this guy.

Today is looking like it will contain a lot more of the in the house while it is nice out side work but what can you do!
Oh Ya and we totally bought another lens. (I know we are crazy) We got a 70-200mm f/2.8L IS USM

Now I know that this is mostly Greek to most. But it is a longer lens that is super fast @2.8 and it has Image stabilizer which will allow for longer shutters while still keeping the image sharp. Reports on line say that we should gain 2 to 3 stops which is the difference between 1/125 and 1/15

Super excited it should be here on Monday.
