Fire Is Bad
Yesterday Afternoon I was driving with Roy back to my place when I could see a huge plume of smoke on the horizon It looked huge so After stopping to get Miranda of we went. We met up with Rob on the way. After a little bit of 4X4ing and a Curb hopping due to crazy traffic we were able to ditch the cars and walk over and grab some photos.

When Did I Become A Maid Exactly?
I have been cleaning and fixing up the house over the last few days because it is going on the market. It has been a crazy job and I haven’t really seen an end in sight for so long that I feel like there isn’t one. However, today I am cleaning it up spotless and taking photos for the listings and then I am taking a break from it all and going out side where the weather is fine and the sun is shining. I am far to busy in other avenues to go out and take photos of random stuff but I have achieved complete portability in the photo processing department so that is what shall be..
I have been on a new music download spree over the last while as well. What I often do is search for random keywords and then download odd songs here and there. I f there is something that I like I will explore it more, or if some one has an artist that I like I will browse them and spot download random things. I have come up with some great stuff that way. It was how I originally discovered Rainer Maria. Any way I am still sorting though a bunch of this but some interesting ones are The Starting Line. & Fall Out Boy. Now I am sure most of you are saying hey they have been around forever and you are just hearing about them now? I live under a rock I know, there is no need to point that out. Any who

Life is like an Ikea Commercial
So a few days ago it was crappy out, Suddenly It’s Summer. And with such came a evening of hakey sac and cruising in the beetle. The sky was a cool blue on the way home so I snapped of this.

Yup we climbed a mountain today. Well we had a lot of help from a tramway but it was the top of the mountain none of the less. While at the top we felt that we needed to share the experience with Rob who was stuck at work.

Mike on the phone at the top.

My Weekend
Ahh this weekend has been a crazy one I tell ya. Yesterday we had a wedding which went well and was actually some what fun. Today I had a portrait session and an engagement session. Rob came out and helped with the portrait session which was awesome. It was kind of neat having someone to hold the light disks and what not. :) Anyway I am tired and it is late so I will leave you all with a photo of Maude from our shoot a while back.

Maude & the Arlington
So today started with a phone call from Mike to tell me that the Arlington Apartment building was on fire and that I should go and take photos. After Dropping Miranda off at work that was exactly what I did. Crazy thing is Rob & I had just been there a few days earlier taking photos of the fire escape on the west side of the building.

I also had a shit load of stuff that was to get done today that I didn’t even get close to completing. I spent the better part of yesterday on the phone and I vowed that it wouldn’t happen today but alas when the phone rings one must answer :) Any way I have a photo or two from my photo shoot with Maude last week. Awesome model to work with!

Crazy Weekend
So it was a super busy weekend! Miranda & I got a shit load done on the house. I totally cleaned out the office and finally finished mortaring the Glass blocks and what not. Saturday we had decided that we were totally going to sleep in late and lounge in bed for the better part of the morning. Well 6:30 rolled around and we were both awake and out of bed ready to tackle the day. :) We spent the rest of the day engrossed in the house hold repairs and ended up crashing out in front of the telly at 6ish after ordering Pizza. You would think that getting up early and going hard all day would make one have no trouble sleeping eh? Well I couldn’t get to sleep till well after 4am (pre daylight savings time) So needless to say I did manage to sleep in today. We finished a few things with the house and I had a head shot client at 2. Man L series lens are the Shit!!! I am such a stupid fucking moron for being all “I don’t need any fancy lenses, I can make do with what we have.” I had no idea what we were missing.

Today’s photo appears from one of the Rob & I were wandering Whyte Ave episodes a few months back. I had originally stopped from our aimless wandering to procure a handful of pictures of the red & white streamers that often grace car dealerships of good reputation. However, as it was I ended up slapping on a Fish Eye lens to the camera which tends to modify ones perceptions of things. Thus we end up instead looking at the sign of the establishment and not at the glorious red & white streamers that grace the expansive lot.
