I watched these folks canoe though the end of the arm and up the river a short ways. It was so quiet out though that I could hear their conversion like I was part of it. :) If you are reading this and you were in that canoe, nope this wasn’t a magazine cover photo, but it was still pretty awesome.
I didn’t get to camp here because it was taken (it was a long weekend after all) but this is where I would try and snag the next time I head out there. Literally a peninsula that sticks out into the ocean with trees and such. The best!
I also busted out the IR chrome filter for a few shots. This with the haze of the smoke makes these photos even more surreal!
